Alligator Festival, or "Gator Fest: in Anahauc, Texas invites hunters from all over Texas complete to catch the largest and heaviest "gator" during the season.

The Alligators are then sold at market price for value of their hides and their meat is immediately processed in preparation of Creole-Cajun cuisine, served during the festival and the remainer of the season.
